Courses

If you decide to stay on in full-time education after 16, there are lots of courses to choose from. First you'll need to decide which subjects you want to focus on.

You could study for academic qualifications such as AS or A levels, or go for work-related qualifications such as BTECs. We offer courses here at both Level 2 and Level 3. You can access the information pages for each subject offer either from the main menu above or by clicking the relevant link below.

Level 3 AS/A Level

The following subjects are available to study at A Level or A Level equivalent. You will need 5 GCSEs at C grade or above to study these courses. This may include the BTEC course that you are currently studying, which are worth 2 or 4 GCSEs. Successful completion of level 3 qualifications will enable you to progress on to university to study a degree or HND. If you choose to seek employment after your studies, you will be able to start a job at a higher level. If you have also completed work-related courses and certificates, this will benefit you when looking for employment.
