The school recognises the need to develop all of the interests and aptitudes of its students and many activities are available to each student throughout his/her school life. Some of the activities offered at present are:

Under 16 hockey training and Year 9 5-a side footbal

This winter has seen an increase in attendance at outdoor hockey and football training due to the use of the floodlights on the allweather astroturf pitches. In previous years the area was unused due to the condition of the old tarmac surface, so football and hockey training came to halt in the darker months!

A wide range of Music activities

Peripatetic music lessons which the school currently does not charge for. Students also have the opportunity to play in bands and orchestras. Students should show commitment and be prepared to do some home practice.

Dance and drama Productions

The drama department regularly put on shows with students and staff sometimes performing on the stage together. Keep an eye out for these shows on the events page.
