Germany - how did Hitler get into power in 1933, and what methods did he use to stay in power?

Depth Study - Germany 1918-1945 - The study in depth focuses on the reasons for totalitarianism in Germany, and its impact. There is a focus on how developments in the Weimar government led to Hitler and the Nazi party getting into power. Students look at what it was like to live in Nazi Germany, and how Hitler policies led to several groups being persecuted. There is also discussion on how people tried to oppose Hitler, and how effective this opposition was.

Medicine through time.

The study looks at how medicine has developed through time, from the prehistoric time period to the twentieth century. There is a focus on the factors that led to developments in medicine. We also look at the key people who were involved in discoveries, which led to improved knowledge about medicine.
