Pupils who choose to study Product Design 3D will like all Product Design students study the core sections of Product Design which include, designer and artists, product analysis, product evolution, manufacturing in quantity as well as specific theory surrounding in this case 3D (Resistant Materials).
In year 10 pupils will complete a number of practical project tasks, focusing on the work of various designers: Kandinsky, Pop art as well at natural forms. The products will range from wooden boxes to acrylic clocks and pens. In year 11 pupils will be focusing on the controlled assessment and exam, the controlled assessments tasks will be can range from children’s toys to lighting and seating.
