Textiles

Pupils who choose to study Product Design Textiles will like all Product Design students study the core sections of Product Design which include, designer and artists, product analysis, product evolution, manufacturing in quantity as well as specific theory surrounding in this case Textiles.

In year 10 students will be using Zandra Rhodes creative seams as inspiration for project 1. This will progress into a cushion project. Towards to end of year 10 pupils will then be using Philip Treacy as inspiration for a hat project. In year 11 pupils will be focusing on the controlled assessment and exam.
