Raising money

At the end of the 2010/2011 school year KESH had a day of raising money for Birmingham Childrens Hospital. We managed to raise £730. Children made and sold cakes and badges as well as non uniform day. Pictured below is Mr Khan - Head of Lloyd House.

Inter House football

Well done to all students from Lloyd House who participated in the interhouse football competition. Teams from Year 9 and Year 7 were champions within their respective year competition. Year 10 came second. Next up is Year 8 and then Year 11. The benchmark has been set!

Harvest festival

Students were asked to bring in tins of food, packets of biscuits and other items for Harvest Festival.

Inter House rowing

Students and staff in Lloyd House managed to win the rowing competition by 22000 metres from Parkes House. A big well done to all those who took part.

Pakistan floods

UPDATE: A total of £250 was raised by the students in Lloyd House. Thanks to everyone for their help. A cheque was handed over to Islamic Relief.

Students and staff in Lloyd House are raising money for the people of Pakistan who have been devastated by the floods. An area the size of England is under water.

Mr Thickett is always game for a bit of fun and he will be allowing pupils to tear wax strips off his legs in assembly next Thursday and pay £1 for the privilege. Students have been asked to bring in 20p and we are hoping to raise £200 which we hope will help in a small way at this time of need for the people of Pakistan, especially as Eid is upon us.
