What is the course about?

This is a real opportunity for you to broaden your experience and understanding of the ‘Business World’. The vocational aspect of the course is complimented by strong business links. If you’ve ever wondered how businesses work or ever thought “I have a business idea” this course is something to seriously think about. Business can open the door to a wide range of careers and university courses.

Course Organisation

You will study areas of business including:

  • Marketing
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Exploring team development
  • Investigating business resources
  • Creative product promotion

The course consists of 12 units of work that are continually assessed. All work is coursework.

*This year we are also offering a BTEC National Extended Diploma in this subject. This is equivalent to 3 A Levels, the additional units offered will be decided once we know which students have opted for this.
