What is the course about?

This course enables you to experience the different aspects of the Performing Arts’ world.

You will form a theatre company and work to produce a range of exciting theatrical events. You will explore acting skills, devising, musical theatre, acting for film & TV and scripted performance. You will also have an opportunity to experience a range of live theatre through visits which support your learning.

How will I be assessed?

The course consists of twelve units which are assessed through written coursework and practical performance work at regular intervals during the two year course.

What else do I need to know?

To be successful you need to be able to work collaboratively and contribute to the processes of Creating and Performing. You will need to be able to work to performance schedules and demonstrate a variety of skills to help organise and promote your work to an audience.
