Examination results and sixth form enrolment

The Academy celebrates another year of success following the release of A-Level results. 80% of the students who applied to university have now secured a place to study a wide range of courses such as: 

  • Mathematics at the University of Birmingham
  • Civil Engineering with Industrial Experience at the University of Birmingham
  • Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham
  • Mathematics and Biological Science at Leicester University
  • English Language and Literature at Aston University
  • Clinical Sciences/Medicine Foundation at the University of Bradford

We are very proud of our students’ achievements and wish them the very best with their future studies.

Collecting results and enrolment

  • GCE (for Y12 and Y13) statements of results will be available to students on Thursday 17th August from 08:00 am to 10:00 am.
  • GCSE statements of results will be available to students on Thursday 24th August from 08:30 am to 11:30 am.

Sixth Form enrolment will take place on:

  • Thursday 24th August from 09:00 am to 12:00 for all students who completed their Year 11 studies at KESH.
  • Friday 25th August from 10:00 am to 12:00 for all other students wishing to join our Sixth Form.

Academy student council

There are 16 members of the Academy Council, with 4 students from each House. The Academy Council meet on a weekly basis to discuss and share information raised in the House Councils. They also work on selected projects such as Anti-bullying and Sports Relief.

I joined the 6th Form in Sept 2016 from another school. I feel so excited about being part of the Academy Council and working with the school leaders to help improve the Academy further so that we become an outstanding Academy. Mariyah Hussain.
