The Year 7s kicked off their 2023 campaign with an impressive 7-0 win against Yardley in a cup/league fixture. Goals came from Lu’ay x3, Tyler x2, Cole and Jide.

From kick off we dominated quickly pressing forward with Yardley offering up little resistance during the first half we created plenty of opportunities which forced many a save from their goalkeeper and valiant blocks from their defenders. However, from a long range effort which hit the post Tyler was able to open the scoring with an excellent effort from range. The rest of the first half continued in this fashion until we went in at Half time 2-0 up.

As goal difference could potentially decide things in the league the message to the boys was to continue doing what they were doing and get some more goals. Again we dominated possession and created a lot of opportunity for goals. Which we gladly took with Lu’ay scoring a second half hat trick securing him the player of the match.
