Choose your courses

You must choose a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 qualifications. BTEC 2 A-Level equivalent courses count as 2 qualifications, BTEC 3 A-Level equivalent courses as 3.

Read the entry requirements for each subject carefully; how likely are you to meet them? Unless you meet all entry requirements you will not be able to join a course. You need at least two grades 5 and three grades 4 at GCSE to study for any Level 3 qualifications. In addition to any specific course requirements you must consult the general entry requirements on page 5 of the prospectus:
  • A minimum of a grade 4 in both English Language and Maths to study for any A-Level courses.
  • A minimum of five grades 7 at GCSE and a grade 6 in both English Language and Mathematics to study 4 A-Level subjects.
  • A minimum of five grades 6 at GCSE and a grade 5 in both English Language and Mathematics to study 3 A-Level subjects.
  • A minimum of least three grades 6 and two grades 5 at GCSE and a grade 4 in both English Language and Mathematics to study 2 A-Level subjects.
